Review: I HAVE BEEN USING THESE TAPES EXCLUSIVELY WITH MY SONY MINI DV CAMCORDER FOR ALMOST 1 YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS AND NOT A SINGLE DROPPED FRAME. Thouugh I've heard Camcorders getting messed up if you switch between tape brands but nothing happened for me when I switched from Sony to Panasonic. Strengths: High definition media

Weaknesses: Expensive

Review: This Mini DV media is for hi definition camcorders. I bought this for my Sony HDR-HC3 camcorder. I doubt if this type of media will make a difference. My camcorder specifies Mini DV tapes but no mention of hi definiton grade. Definitely expensive compared to other brands.

Review: Costly product. Sony MiniCV tapes cost only $3.00/- per tape. Sony DVM60EXM2 has a chip which is used to search the tape based on the recording date.
