Review: I found it easy to use with little effort and it provides an appropriate amount of added coverage for filming wide shots for my videography business. I will likely purchase others for additional camcorders that I am using. Having this as original manufacturers equipment avoids any incompatibility problems with generic equipment.

Review: I have ever used Wide angle lens for analog Sony camcorder. From such a experience, I can tell this lens is satisfactory to me within a limited budget, which means "0.6x wide" is not so wide as I have expected.

Strengths: Threads on easily. Comes with a handy case and covers.

Weaknesses: Blurry when zoomed in all the way. Not as powerful as I hoped for

Review: I wanted to get a lens that would let me zoom in farther on my Sony Handycam Hi8. Most lenses like this usually cost $40 or more so I bought this one based on the price. It does increase the power somewhat but not as much as I thought it would. I'm satisfied with it because I plan on upgrading to a better camera anyways.

Review: A must-have if you plan on serious interview situations. As the title says, this 3x lens is designed for close shot. Price-wise, it is high, but I am sure you can find cheaper price somewhere. A good .6 or .7 wide angle adapter lens cost around $600-700 anyway. So, if you plan on some serious close&wide-shots, get this lens. Changing the lens is easy for XL-2.
