Review: This is the best combination of features I have found in a UV filter (and I own over 5 different types). Deigned for digital cameras (yes, they do have different needs due to their reflectivity of the sensor), Hoya took their great SHMC design and improved upon it with an additional layer for easy of cleaning and scratch resistance and a UV filtering spectrum featuring a very sharp cutoff.

25mm filter is perfect fit for Sony camcorders!

Strengths: Color matches the camcorder. Lens are made in Japan

Weaknesses: Would be nice if a ND4 filter is provided as well. Did not come with a soft case as some retailers claimed it does.

Review: It is very difficult to get a 25 mm filter in the retail stores in US and the best I could get was a 27mm-25mm converter with the filter. When attached, the converter makes the filter protrude out a lot and luckily, I found this set of filters on pricegrabber.com.
