Strengths: Very flexible flash angling and output, Outstanding battery life fast recycling time

Weaknesses: Haven't discovered any yet

Review: It's really bulky but manageable. It can shoot as fast as my camera can shoot. The flexible angling is quite useful. Also, it's using AA battery which is cheaper but may be heavier.

Strengths: Quick Recycle time, Easy menu, POWER and MORE POWER

Weaknesses: Price, Size (it's considerably larger then the SB-800)

Review: I'm an owner of a SB-800 and love the flash, and would've gotten another if the model hadn't been discontinued. This flash was going to be my back-up, but after a few sessions it's now my primary flash. The biggest advantages I've found are the quick recycle time (minus a 5th battery needed for the SB-800) and menu navigation.

Strengths: Small size, good illumination, light, price, flash tilt

Weaknesses: Does not seem to reach as far as I would like

Review: As a new DSLR camera user, it was recommended that I purchase an external flash for indoor conditions. After looking at all of the speedlights, I decided on this due to its small size and weight. Since it is small I can leave it attached and it still fits in my camera bag. I have taken about 300 pictures with it so far and it does the job OK. It does not reach as far as the manufacturers...
