Yamaha CDC-697 5 disc CD Player

Strengths: Has a very short disc change time, even when mixing tracks. Has great sound. For the price was a good deal.

Weaknesses: None found yet....

Review: Had an older Denon 5 disc CD player that was starting to be problematic. Replaced it with this Yamaha and it has been playing flawlssly. If disc has text, the player will show CD title etc.... Plays CD-r as well.

Strengths: The external design is very efficient (i.e. all "buttons" and their functions are clearly identified).

Weaknesses: None that I've noticed at this time.

Review: I was looking for a cassette player/recorder to be able to encode my purchased tapes to digital on CD, as well as to play and record cassette tapes. This particular unit does exactly what I needed at a very good price. Those who place a dollar limit on their purchases, I highly recommend this product

Strengths: Cheaper than Watts Up Small Easy to read display if you use extension cord

Weaknesses: Inconveinant to use Only good for outlets above a kitchen counter and if the outlet has the ground lug facing down, Useless for baseboard outlets in...

Review: Needs to be redesigned to use a remote sensor type plug/socket arrangement so as to have a cable between that and the meter so you can actually use the device from a floor outlet. Overpriced over the orginal P3 $40 vs $16.
