Strengths: Gives you more current independent worktime.
Weaknesses: A little bit bulky and heavy (if you travel a lot)
Review: The specification says that it will give you up to 8 hours of worktime, but that depends a lot on what you are doing. My own experience is that the batterie is good for about 4-5 hours real worktime. Together with the original batterie it will give you 6-7 hours which is quite enough if you are traveling in an airplane in the US. For longer flights you should have two batteries.

Strengths: It's an affordable alternative to the ~$160 option from Dell.
Weaknesses: It's made in China. The original is made in Japan - the quality has yet to be seen. It's also slightly off size.
Review: This battery arrived quickly and is exactly as promised. It arrived with a partial charge and worked the first time I used it. I ordered this to replace the OEM battery that died and the quality looks to be nearly the same. I can't speak for the long term quality and it's slightly off size, but it took a charge and fit into the Inspiron 1501 that I have.
