Strengths: Lid effectively prevents leaks. Nice size. Good handles for those heavy stews.
Weaknesses: It may be bigger than your older cooker. Make sure you have room for it on the counter and in your car.

Review: This is really small rice cooker, only for family of three I guess. It is very easy to use and clean since it is coated. But its capacity is a bit small (3.3 cup rice only, don't be misled by the picture). Only downside is it has no warm function, but I don't care since I always eat freshly cooked rice.

Strengths:  I love the programable thermostat. Switching to warm after cook time is done is also a great feature. Very reasonably priced. Got it shipped to me...
Weaknesses: None to speak of so far
Review: Cooked my first pot roast using one of their recepies. Set the thermostat to 145 degrees and it came out perfectly. I like the long slow cook on low better than a faster cook on high. If you have the time, use the 8 hour setting on low.
