I cancelled my order (shipping delays) and received a confirmation. 3 months later the order suddenly showed up. I tried to contact the company to get a prepaid return shipping label and a refund. No return calls. I eventually spoke to a customer service rep. and was told I would get a refund and a prepaid shipping label. After no action I called again and was told by a different rep. this would be taken care of. No action. I called and left messages. No return calls. I called and tried to speak to a manager but was told by the customer rep. there was nothing they could do since my order was so old. My order was "old" because 5 months after the original order, and 3 months after the cancellation, the merchandise appeared, plus I had been trying to get this resolved for two months. The company has not responded to the BBB and the atty. general's office. Now the credit card co. is involved on my behalf. The item is still being sold on their website. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. |

I never write reviews but this company was so bad I had to speak up. I ordered a medicine cabinet 3/28/11, many delays and lies latter I finally cancelled the order on 6/16/11 because I could not wait any longer. They said they would refund my money in full (($645) in 30 days. It has been over 6 weeks. They disconnected their phone numbers since then and won't return emails. Listen to the other reviewers and DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! They are a scam operation. I will be contacting the BBB next, then my credit card company to notify them of fraud. |

Ordered a name-brand part on Feb. 3rd with a promised delivery of mid-March. Called on March 28th and was told the name-brand part with the bold look would be delayed until sometime in April, but decided to cancel the order. Here it is, two and a half months later and I still have not received the refund. The woman on the phone has implored me to get my bank to issue a refund on the charge. I think I've just thrown away $70. According to these other reviews, I got an inexpensive lesson about checking the reviews before ordering from such a company. American Home Plus should be run off the internet! |

Don't buy from this merchant! They charged my credit card immediately upon check out but it took 3 months for them to ship the item. When I tried to cancel, they said it was in the shipping process even tho I did not get notification of that, and I would have to pay a 40% restocking fee! Crazy! I looked at their terms and conditions and I would have had to pay a 5% restocking fee after hitting the "submit" button on their check out. What a rip-off! |

This company needs to post a warning to potential shoppers to expect L O N G shipping delays (for no apparent reason). I saved money, but the stress and worry that I would never see the lights I paid $1500 for wasn't worth the savings. It took exactly 60 days, numerous emails, and several phone calls to get my order. I also called the lighting manufacturer direct and was told the lights I wanted were NOT on back order so there was no real reason for the delay. I just think customer service is pretty much nonexistent with this company. (BTW, I consider myself a frequent online shopper and I have never complained about an online shopping experience before). |

It took forever for any part of my order placed on October 31st to arrive. I cancelled my order for a kitchen faucet on November 10th because I couldn't wait for the delayed shippping. I am still waiting for my $564.96 refund for the faucet as of 3/23/11. This is extremely frustrating given that they had no problem charging my credit card immediately on 10/31/10 |

Listen to all the others and do not do business with this company!! I received an order 25 days after I cancelled it with a confirmation number. I received nothing from the vendor either via a call or e-mail regarding a ship date despite nummerous attempts on my part before cancelling. When it arrived nearly four weeks later due to their error, I was expected to pay for it or pay a 40% restock fee on a $650 item . I ended up spending my own $75 to ship the item back to the manufacturer. They still called and were abusive and profane when demanding a restock fee. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Please save yourself the grief and avoid this company. |

I order online all the time and I've never had such a bad experience with a company. I'm still working on getting 1 of my grab bars. I had to contact the manufacturer of the grab bar to help me with this effort and who knows what the outcome will be. They've had my money since Sept. 16th and so far only 1 grab bar. Wish me luck! It's Feb.2nd and I'm in e-mail hell; still NO results! Can you help? |

The products are as expected, information about delivery could be improved, i.e. I was promised an initial confirming email with preliminary details about delivery, which I did not receive and needed to call to request it. |

I hope this company comes through with my order. So far, I feel that I have been misled and my money has been taken with no effort to provide me the goods I purchased. It is rare that I have any problem with an online transaction, but this one has been nothing BUT a problem. |
