The dm3-1130us is an entry-level entertainment notebook from HPs Pavilion dm3 Series. The laptop is designed with a 13.3" widescreen HD LED-backlit display with HPs BrightView technology and a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. It features a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-Core processor with 4GB of DDR2 memory and a 320GB hard drive. The dm3-1130us includes integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics and operates on Windows 7 Home Premium. It also has 4 USB ports and includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The dm3-1130us comes in a brushed aluminum finish in Modern Argento and has a suggested retail price of $630. PROS: (1) can easily run several apps and browser windows at once (2) streams online video from various sources consistently, good network connection (3) hard drive is large and has fast access times (4) screen is nice and bright with vibrant colors (5) case is sturdy with no flex or creaking, can be held at the corner no problem ... CONS: (1) touchpad takes a bit getting used to, has an unusual response (2) screen is a little smaller than usual (3) speakers are washed out, tinny, and never get very loud (4) no optical drive, need to download all software or bring it over on a USB key
