This is similar to the AMD Athlon II X2 215, but has a faster 2.9 GHz clock speed and larger 2 Mb L2 cache which produces more efficient general operation. Otherwise they are the same, drawing 65 Watts of power and communicating with the motherboard through a HyperTransport bus that eliminates the need for a Front Side Bus.
